Training that focuses on the human body as an integrated and multidimensional system, which assists in improving functionality for completing daily life tasks. 


4th trimester transition, ab rehabilitation, time sensitive workouts, functional programs/exercises to help prepare for baby, or strengthen to make everyday activity easier. 


Individual & team training. Using sport specific movement analysis to increase strength, speed, and agility needed for sport.

Corrective exercise

Correcting muscle imbalance, injury prevention / rehabilitation, working with chronic pain/ conditions. 

Senior fitness and group classes

Safely working to develop and encourage a healthier lifestyle for ageing adults.

Corporate events

Team building fitness events, safe work stretching (job specific).

Hello fellow fitness enthusiasts! Growing up in rural Alberta near the village of Breton, I always enjoyed an active lifestyle, practically living at the dance studio, fitting in other sports and activities when I wasn’t dancing. After graduating high school, I moved overseas and started my traveling adventures, which although fun and exciting, did not lend to my previous fitness levels. Returning home from my travels, I started working at a power plant, eventually working my way up to a plant operator (power engineer). Although an active job, I could see how the years of shift work took a further toll on my physical health and fitness and I wanted to learn more about how to correct this.

Skip to present day, after two years of juggling work, a new baby and NAIT schooling, I achieved my personal fitness diploma with honors and earned my gold standard Canadian society of exercise physiologist certification. While working towards my diploma, my husband and I welcomed our son into the world in June 2020 and it has been a whirlwind of fun and adventures ever since.

Having been through my own struggles trying to find a fitness regime compatible with my time constraints and working shift work and long hours, then transitioning into the “4th trimester” and trying to find time to work on myself with a little one, I completed my training and started Haylstorm Fitness. My passion is to help others like myself, and to help individuals achieve their own fitness goals in creative ways, suitable for them.
